University of Maryland Global Campus stateside locations observe the following holiday calendar for 2024. Please contact your advisor or military education coordinator to determine how these holiday dates may impact your classes.

Holiday 2024 Calendar

All hybrid locations will be closed in observance of the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day: January 1, 2024 
  • Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s Birthday: January 15, 2024
  • Memorial Day: May 27, 2024
  • Juneteenth: June 19, 2024
  • Independence Day: July 4, 2024
  • Labor Day: September 2, 2024
  • Thanksgiving Break: November 28–29, 2024
  • Christmas Day: December 25, 2024

Military sites may observe the following holidays along with the holidays listed above:

  • Presidents' Day: February 19, 2024
  • Columbus Day: October 14, 2024
  • Veterans Day: November 11, 2024
