Learn how you can become actively involved in a student organization.
Our student organizations aim to provide members with professional growth, leadership development, and a sense of community. They include academic-focused groups where students can engage with career-related topics and opportunities and interest-based groups that provide students with ways to support and connect with each other through a shared purpose.
Students, alumni, staff, and faculty who join a student organization are encouraged to be active participants in a variety of ways. This may include attending events, collaborating on projects, contributing to activities, and serving in leadership roles. Most student organizations offer virtual events and activities. Students interested in forming a new student organization should email engagement@umgc.edu for more information.
