Biography

Kanon Kobayashi lives in Tokyo, Japan, and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. Kanon enrolled at UMGC immediately after graduating from high school. She decided to join the Student Advisory Council to help create a better environment for all students and looks to represent the voices of students in the Asia region. Kanon is in her fourth year of college and has experienced both positive aspects and areas that need improvement. As a student in the Asian branch, Kanon has valuable perspectives to share with STAC members regarding UMGC's system. She’s committed to making online-based education more accessible and inclusive.
