Cassandra Jenkins

UMGC Stateside Undergraduate Alternate

Biography

As the daughter of a sailor, I moved states and cities often until my father’s retirement. I adopted Memphis, Tennessee as my hometown and even after moving again I still consider that home. I began my journey at UMGC while living in South Korea, where I connected with other overseas UMGC students. Currently, I am a stateside student pursuing an undergraduate degree in general studies with a minor concentration in biology. I work with North Country Prenatal/Perinatal Council, a nonprofit agency that provides family support, as the program coordinator. I am also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. I believe that my purpose in this world is to help others and I enjoy being able to do so. I also love a good horror book and constructing miniatures in my free time.
