UMGC has created sample schedules to pace your academic progress. These vary based on your chosen academic program and personal situation.

Note that the charts below are sample schedules only, and you are not "locked into" any schedule.

Undergraduate Degrees

Graduation in 4 years

A chart indicating 12 credits each fall in two six-credit sessions, 12 credits each spring in two six-credit sessions, and six credits each summer in one six-credit session

Graduation in 6 years

A chart indicating nine credits each fall, nine credits each spring, and three credits each summer.

Graduation in 8 years

Graduate Degrees

Four-Term Graduate Degrees

(Programs that Require DCL, CBR, or PRO 600)

Graduation in 18 Months

For Four-term graduate degrees, if you take six credits in each of the four terms over a calendar year, you will graduate in 18 months. 

* The Master of Science in Healthcare Administration is a 42-credit program and will take longer to complete.
