A minor in personal financial planning requires the completion of the following courses:

As a personal financial planning minor, you will already have taken five of the six courses required to complete the Certified Financial Planner Board-approved course of study that will qualify you for the CFP exam. But you do not have to currently be enrolled at UMGC to take these classes. The CFP Board-approved course of study is available to any individual that is interested in earning the CFP certification.
Political Science Minor
A minor in psychology requires the completion of 15 credits of coursework in psychology, as follows:
- Choose one of the following foundation courses:
- PSYC 100
- PSYC 300

- Choose one course from each of the following groupings:
