Hybrid Learning

Learn about the approach to hybrid learning at UMGC.

At University of Maryland Global Campus, hybrid classes typically meet in person a few times per session, with additional instruction and interaction provided in the online learning environment. Because the majority of UMGC students are working professionals, we offer classes in the evenings and on weekends. With 20+ locations in the United States offering hybrid classes, there's a good chance we offer this option near your home or work. Learn how hybrid classes can affect housing allowances for veterans.

Please note: Select programs require some hybrid courses or an on-site residency. Programs that require an on-site component have those requirements listed on the degree webpage and in the catalog.
