If you have graduated from the Marine Corps Command and Staff College Distance Education Program 8900 series from the College of Distance Education and Training, you may be eligible to transfer 15 graduate credits toward a Master of Science in Management with a specialization in Marine Corps Operations.
- To participate in this partnership program, you must have completed the CSCDEP 8900 series.
- All coursework for the degree, including courses taken at CDET, must be completed within a five-year window; you must submit official transcripts from CDET for review, along with the transfer credit evaluation request form, to see if you meet the eligibility requirements.
Public Safety Student Association
The Public Safety Student Association encourages discussions on careers, current events, and topics within the public safety field. Activities have included webinars on related topics and careers. It is available to graduate or undergraduate students, alumni, staff, and faculty. Students and alumni can join the Public Safety Student Association group on CareerQuest.
Student Veterans Of America (SVA), UMGC Chapter
The UMGC Chapter of SVA offers information and support on benefits, academics, and policies. It also offers online and in-person fellowship for active-duty servicemembers and veterans. Interested military and veteran students and their spouses should email the Vessey Virtual Student Union at vesseyvrc@umgc.edu to learn more.
