Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication

Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) at UMGC to add an extra layer of security to your account. MFA requires a second form of verification, such as a text message, email, or authentication app, to keep your information safe.

How to Enroll in MFA:

  1. Visit the MFA setup portal in Microsoft.
  2. Update or add your phone number.
  3. Set up the Microsoft Authenticator App.

If you're configuring MFA for the first time, make sure you have your UMGC login credentials and access to your second verification method.

For detailed setup information, please review our instructions on How to Enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication.
