University of Maryland Global Campus offers reduced tuition rates, so military servicemembers and their spouses and eligible dependent children can earn a powerful UMGC degree at an even more affordable price. Our detailed tuition table can help you find your exact costs.

To receive the reduced military tuition rate, within 30 days of the date that you submitted your application for admission to UMGC, you must submit documentation to verify your eligibility in accordance with the procedures for receiving the military tuition rate. To learn more about the required documentation for military servicemembers and their spouses and dependent children, view Steps to Apply for Military and Veteran Students.

If you do not submit sufficient documentation within the deadline, your tuition rate will be changed to the out-of-state rate, unless you have submitted the Residency Questionnaire in your student portal and qualify for in-state tuition, in which case your tuition rate will be changed to the in-state rate.
