If you are an active-duty servicemember in the U.S. Army, you may be eligible to take noncredit training courses for popular cybersecurity and IT certifications right on base. University of Maryland Global Campus is offering courses to help prepare you for the following certifications:
Each noncredit training course is conducted over a period of 10 days for a total of 38 hours. The courses are taught by UMGC-approved trainers who have been certified by CompTIA to teach courses in Network+, Security+, and Certified Ethical Hacker. These courses are designed to give you the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to help you transition to a civilian career in an in-demand field.
For more information, please reach out to Dominique Turner, Director of Non-Traditional Programs, by emailing CredentialingAssistance@umgc.edu. Servicemembers who want to enroll must receive prior approval from the Education Service Officer (ESO) on base and through ArmyIgnitED.
