Stay current on security issues and trends through CSS events.

The Center for Security Studies at University of Maryland Global Campus offers conferences, seminar series, and webinars that explore cybersecurity and homeland security issues and trends in an open and unclassified format. Speakers and panel members include a wide range of leaders and security experts from the government, industry, and academia.

CSS events are designed for students, faculty, policymakers, government officials, military personnel, defense contractors, law enforcement officials, and interagency and private-sector communities working and interested in the cybersecurity and homeland security fields.

Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Held every October, Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a collaborative effort between government and industry to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and to ensure that all Americans have the resources they need to be safer and more secure online. We are proud to be champions in support of this essential online safety, awareness, and education initiative.
