Military and Veteran Support

Student Clubs
Connect with fellow UMGC students from around the globe by getting involved in an academic club or honor society. Many clubs meet online, so you can connect with students with similar interests from around the globe.
Technology Talent Development
UMGC has partnered with Revature, a technology industry talent development company, to offer no-cost professional development programs in coding and software development to current student and alumni. Tutoring
UMGC offers several no-cost tutoring and mentoring programs. Complimentary tutoring is available online in select subjects for undergraduates and to help graduate students with writing. Peer-to-peer tutoring is also available for undergraduates. Plus, we have mentoring programs to help you connect with a peer mentor, a career mentor, or a mentor who's a veteran. Select graduate degrees also offer industry-specific mentoring programs.
Writing Help
Through the Effective Writing Center, students can get one-on-one writing advice and access online writing resources.
