Learn how technology integrates into healthcare and health information management and leadership.

The digital health leader certificate program is designed to help prepare you to serve as a leader within health institutions through the use of digital tools. In this program, you’ll learn how medical equipment and biomedical engineering are integrated into hospital systems. You’ll also map relationships between individual components of the healthcare ecosystem to advance digital health component integration into healthcare operations.

Please note: The Digital Health Leader Certificate Program is in Candidacy Status, pending accreditation review by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).

    (to be taken within the first 6 credits of study)

The UCSP 615 requirement may be waived if you previously earned a graduate degree from a regionally accredited institution. For more information, contact your academic advisor.

Accelerated Pathway

If you completed your undergraduate degree at UMGC with coursework in health services management, an accelerated pathway between our undergraduate and graduate degree programs in this area may allow you to reduce your total coursework for this program by up to 6 credits.
