How many credits can I transfer to my undergraduate program?
The number of transfer credits you can bring depends on your program:
Associate Degree
- Transfer up to 45 credits.
- Credits may include military education, training, and experience.
Bachelor’s Degree
- Transfer up to 70 credits from an approved two-year college.
- Transfer up to 90 credits from an approved four-year school or other sources (credit by exam, military service, or noncollegiate training).
Undergraduate Certificate
- Certificates are 18 credits total.
- At least 9 credits must be completed at UMGC.
- Prerequisite courses may be required before you start.
