Can I retake the UMGC foreign language placement test?
Yes, you can retake the foreign language placement test at UMGC up to two times, with a 24-hour wait between attempts. If you have a valid reason and need to retake the test, you can request additional attempts, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Your placement test results are valid for 12 months. If it has been longer than that since you took the test, you'll need to re-take it before enrolling in a foreign language course.
