What is covered by MyCAA?
The Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) program provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance for eligible military spouses. It covers:
- Licenses, certificates, or certifications
- Associate degrees in approved fields
- Industry-recognized certifications and national tests
- Tuition for approved programs at accredited schools in the U.S. or approved testing organizations
At UMGC, MyCAA supports the following programs:
- Associate's of Arts
- Undergraduate certificates in Advanced Management, Computer Networking, and Cyber Threat Hunting (credits can be applied to associate or bachelor's degrees)
Eligible programs are also available for military spouses in Europe and Asia.
