How do I join a group tutoring session?
UMGC offers free group tutoring for select courses. These sessions are led by UMGC tutors on Zoom (not through Tutor.com). Time spent in group sessions does not count toward your 10 free one-on-one tutoring hours.
To join these free sessions:
- Go to Tutoring Services & Resources
- Click the Group Tutoring Sessions at No Cost icon
- Select your subject under Group Tutoring Sessions by Subject
- Click the Zoom registration link to sign up
- Check your email for a confirmation
WRTG 111 Students:
- Group writing sessions are available through Tutor.com.
- Open the Academic Support or Resources tab in your classroom
- Click Tutoring
- Select the Workshops tile
- Click Book Now
