What constitutes a drop versus a withdraw?
Drop
- Must happen during the first few days of the class (based on course length).
- Does not appear on transcripts.
- Does not count as attempted credit.
- No tuition charged.
- May affect financial aid eligibility.
Withdraw
- Must happen before 65% of the session is complete.
- Appears on your transcript with a "W" grade.
- Counts as attempted credit, but not as completed credit.
- Tuition charged based on the refund schedule.
- May impact financial aid but does not affect GPA.
