Cost of Attendance: What Will UMGC Cost?

Your financial need can impact how much aid you qualify for at UMGC.

If you apply for financial aid at University of Maryland Global Campus, the Office of Financial Aid will calculate your eligibility for aid based on the estimated cost of attendance budgets below. Cost of attendance takes into account tuition and fees (which will be charged to your student account directly); and allowances for food and housing; books, course materials, supplies, and equipment; transportation; loan fees; and miscellaneous personal expenses that should be considered when you plan to attend UMGC.

Your cost of attendance will vary depending on your program of study, your credits per semester, your residency, and your living situation. These estimates are based on our approved 2024–2025 tuition rates, which remain subject to change as deemed necessary by UMGC and the University System of Maryland Board of Regents.

Annual Estimated Half-Time Tuition

Annual tuition/fees figures listed below are based on half-time enrollment. All undergraduate students and most graduate students are considered attending half-time if they are taking 6 credits per semester. For the specialty graduate and doctoral programs, half-time is 3 credits per semester.
