COVID-19 Financial Resources

Learn how UMGC is assisting students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

At University of Maryland Global Campus, we understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has upended the lives of many of our students. Now, as always, UMGC is offering financial resources to help you achieve your educational goals.

Federal Financial Aid

If you don't already have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file, it is strongly recommended that you do so. It's important to submit the FAFSA every year so you're aware of your options and so that you can be considered for UMGC scholarships as well. Please review our Federal financial aid page for more information.

If you are seeking financial assistance for the summer 2021, fall 2021, winter 2022 or spring 2022 terms, you should complete the 2021–2022 FAFSA. If you are interested in being considered for financial assistance in the summer 2022, fall 2022, winter 2023, or spring 2023 terms, you should complete the 2022–2023 FAFSA.
