Designed specifically for out-of-state students, the Community College Alliance program at University of Maryland Global Campus allows you to transfer your community college credits seamlessly so you can get on the path to earning your bachelor's degree. Our transfer representatives visit each campus regularly to provide you with an easy, hassle-free transfer process.

Your Degree Could Be Closer Than You Think

  • UMGC accepts up to 70 credits from approved two-year schools and community colleges. 
  • UMGC accepts up to 90 credits from approved four-year colleges and universities. 
  • UMGC offers dual enrollment options so you can take classes at your community college and UMGC at the same time.

Save $50!

UMGC waives the $50 application fee for students transferring from an alliance school.
