The Community College Alliance program at University of Maryland Global Campus allows you to earn your associate's degree at any Maryland public community college and transfer your credits seamlessly towards a bachelor's degree at UMGC. We have alliance agreements with all 16 Maryland public community colleges, making your transition easier than ever.

Your Degree Could Be Closer Than You Think

  • UMGC accepts up to 70 credits from approved two-year schools and community colleges. 
  • The UMGC Completion Scholarship brings the average cost to complete a bachelor's degree to $12,000 or less.
  • UMGC offers dual enrollment options so you can take classes at your community college and UMGC at the same time.

UMGC waives the $50 application fee for students transferring from an alliance school.
