Develop a curriculum that meets your unique learning needs and career interests.
In the Associate of Arts general curriculum at University of Maryland Global Campus, you may choose related courses from several disciplines, explore several interests at once, or choose a variety of courses from UMGC’s offerings. The responsibility for developing a curriculum that meets your intended learning outcomes is yours. You are encouraged to seek assistance from advisors or success coaches in arranging your curriculum as appropriate to your personal interests and future educational plans. If you are interested in pursuing a general studies major, you should strive to include 6 credits of coursework in one discipline area (e.g., HRMN) and 6 credits from a second discipline area (e.g., PSYC) in your plan.
