DORSEY STATION

University of Maryland Global Campus offers classes and full services at Dorsey Station in Elkridge, Maryland.

The Dorsey Station location is easily accessible from I-95 and Md. 295 and the MARC Camden line. We invite transfer students from Anne Arundel Community College and Howard Community College, and local prospective and current students to visit us.

Please note that this location's test center is named the Curtis Bay Coast Guard National Testing Center.

Exams Offered    

CLEP

Our test center offers computer-based College Level Examination Program, or CLEP, exams. CLEP study guides are available at most bookstores or you can order online through the College Board. The UMGC code number is 5804. You must enter this number on your exam material if you want your score sent to UMGC.

DSST

The nationally recognized DSST program, formerly known as DANTES Subject Standardized Tests, allows you to earn college credits for learning acquired outside the traditional classroom. The UMGC code number is 9357. You must enter this number on your exam material if you want your score sent to UMGC. The Principles of Public Speaking exam is available by appointment only by contacting your location or e-mailing Exams and Testing.

Every Wednesday, UMGC's VetSuccess on Campus counselors come to Dorsey Station to provide academic, career, and civilian life adjustment counseling services for veterans, servicemembers, and their dependents. These experienced counselors come from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. They can help you understand your education, health, and other veterans benefits and provide you with support and assistance as you seek to achieve your education and career goals.

Online Library

UMGC's online library is available 24/7 to students around the globe. Most printed materials can be mailed at no cost to students in the continental United States, or you can request electronic delivery for journal articles and book chapters. To access research databases and the library catalog or view tutorials on how to conduct research, visit the UMGC Library.
