How do I get writing help at UMGC?
All writing support is available through the Tutor.com platform, which you can access from your classroom or the student portal (MyUMGC).
- Go to the Academic Support or Resources tab in your course or the Student Support tab in the student portal.
- Select Tutoring (classroom) or Work with a Writing Tutor (student portal).
- Writing Support Options:
- Submit Your Draft: Upload your writing and get feedback within 12 hours, often much sooner!
- Submit for AI Review: Get instant feedback, then follow up with a tutor if needed.
- Schedule a Session: Book a live 30-minute session with a UMGC professional tutor (based on availability)
