When will I receive my UMGC student email account?

Note: The University of Maryland Global Campus student e-mail account will be created upon enrollment in your first class, according to the following schedule:

  • Student's email account will be available 24 hours after enrolling in class if the class begins in the current/next term.

  • Student's email account will be available seven days before the class start date if your class begins in a future term.

Note: Instructions for logging in and additional information about their email account will be sent to the e-mail address they used when enrolling in class.

  1. Go to mail.umgc.edu and click Check my e-mail for their student account.
    Note: Your email address will be your username + @student.umgc.edu
    Example: hsolo2@student.umgc.edu

 

Note: Student's email account will remain active for two years after their last class enrollment. After two years, they will need to register for another class to reactivate their email account.
