The University of Maryland Global Campus student e-mail account will be created upon enrollment in your first class, according to the following schedule:

• Student's email account will be available 24 hours after enrolling in class if the class begins in the current/next term.
• Student's email account will be available seven days before the class start date if your class begins in a future term.

Instructions for logging in and additional information about their email account will be sent to the e-mail address you used when enrolling in class.

• Go to mail.umgc.edu and select Check my e-mail to access your student account.
  • Note: Your email address will be your username + @student.umgc.edu
    • Example: hsolo2@student.umgc.edu

Note: Student's email account will remain active for two years after your last class enrollment. After two years, you will need to register for another class to reactivate your email account. Degree or certificate graduates after 2019 will have access to their student email and limited access to Microsoft Office 365.
