When will my agency get a refund for Tuition Assistance (TA)?

If you're using Tuition Assistance (TA) through a third-party agency, there are some situations where UMGC may send a refund to your agency. This can happen when:

  • You drop a class during the Schedule Adjustment Period
  • The agency overpays your invoice
  • You're granted an administrative withdrawal

Once the refund is processed, it typically takes 7 to 10 business days for the agency to receive the funds. Processing time may vary depending on your agency's requirements.
