What is Eduroam?

Eduroam (Education roaming) is the secure, worldwide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.

Eduroam (education roaming) is a global wireless network service created for the international research and education community. It allows you to connect to Wi-Fi at participating institutions using your UMGC username and password.

UMGC students, faculty, and staff can use Eduroam for fast, secure Wi-Fi access at:

  • UMGC locations
  • University of Maryland, College Park
  • Other universities across the U.S.
  • Institutions in more than 50 countries such as:
    • Universität Heidelberg, Germany
    • London Metropolitan University, England
    • Kyoto University, Japan
