Chapter 31, also known as Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E), helps veterans and transitioning servicemembers with a service-connected disability rating of at least 20% prepare for, find, and keep employment.
You may qualify for up to 48 months of benefits, and eligibility typically lasts 12 years from the date you separated from the military or received your disability rating notice.
