Before You Start

• Clear browser cache and temporary files.
• Open one browser window only; close other apps.
• Save responses often - don't wait until the end.
• Do not close your browser; unsaved work is lost.
• To pause: click Save All Responses → drop-down next to your name → Log Out.

Note: You cannot upload documents in quizzes.

Steps to Take a Quiz

1. Go to Course Home → Activities and Assessments → Quizzes.
2. Click the quiz title you want to take.
3. Read the instructions carefully.
4. Click Start Quiz! and then OK on the confirmation page.
5. Answer each question and click the corresponding Save button.
6. Click Save All Responses if you're pausing or need extra time on a question.
7. When ready, click Go to Submit Quiz.
8. If questions are unanswered, you'll see a warning - click each link to complete missing answers.
9. Click Submit Quiz.

Tip: Confirm your submission by going to My Tools → Class Progress.

Quiz Issues & Troubleshooting

You may lose a quiz attempt if:

• Internet connection drops or freezes
• Quiz tool freezes
• Browser or device shuts down/restarts
• You navigate away from the quiz despite warnings

Tips:

• If the quiz freezes, open a new browser and try to resume.
• If you exceed the time limit, ask your professor to submit on your behalf.
