How do I submit a writing assignment for review?

If you're looking for feedback on a draft or written assignment, UMGC offers writing support through the Tutor.com platform.

Follow the steps below to submit your paper for review:

  1. From your Online classroom, click Academic Support or Resources.
  2. Select Tutoring to access the Tutor.com platform. 
  3. Choose  Drop Off Your Work to submit a paper.
  4. Select Writing: Submit Your Draft.
  5. Complete the Submission Form by answering a few questions about your assignment and any specific areas where you'd like feedback.
  6. Upload your draft.
  7. Confirm Submission.

Notes

  • You'll receive a confirmation email once your submission is successful.
  • If you don't see it, check your spam folder.
  • You can also check the status of your submission by selecting My Account on the Tutor.com landing page and clicking My Sessions.
  • Feedback is usually returned within 12 hours

If you haven't received feedback within 24 hours, please contact the Effective Writing Center.
