Can I apply to study abroad at UMGC Asia/Europe?
UMGC Asia and UMGC Europe are not traditional study-abroad options for U.S.-based students. On-site classes are reserved for individuals who are part of the following groups:
- U.S. active-duty military personnel and their dependents
- U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) civilians and contractors, and their dependents
- U.S. Department of State personnel
- U.S. armed forces retirees
- NATO-sponsored personnel (who are not citizens of the duty station country)
Note: Some categories may be able to access the base but could have limited or no privileges. Please visit your local education center to verify your ID card and determine your eligibility.
