When will I see my MHEC award in the portal?
After you accept your award in the Maryland College Aid Processing System (MDCAPS), it may take some time to appear in your MyUMGC Student Portal.
Here's what to expect:
- Certification and awarding begin in August for the upcoming academic year.
- Awards are processed in weekly batches, so you may not see your award right away.
- If all your courses for the term have started and your award still hasn't been posted or disbursed, submit a case through the UMGC Help Center
- You can expect a response within 2-3 business days.
