Do I need my Social Security Number to apply?

U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens: Must provide a Social Security Number (SSN) or National Identification Number.
International students who are not U.S. citizens: Providing an SSN is optional.

Including your SSN helps UMGC confirm your identity and accurately match your student and financial records.
