How do I set my preferred email address in my UMGC Student Account?

  1. Go to your Profile in MyUMGC.
  2. Scroll to Contact Information and click the pencil icon next to the Email field to edit.
    • Note: To add a new address, enter it as your Personal or Work email. The School email cannot be edited.
  3. In the Action column, click the pencil icon to:
    • Designate an existing email as your Preferred Email Address, or
    • Add a new Personal or Work email.
  4. In the popup, check the Preferred Email Address box.
  5. Click Save.
