Why was my scholarship cancelled or reduced?

Each scholarship has its own rules. Here are common reasons your award may have changed:

  • Dropped or didn’t enroll in classes before the drop date
  • Not enough credits (some awards require full-time enrollment)
  • Non-passing grades (F, FN, W)
  • Received a 100% tuition refund due to withdrawal
  • Financial Aid Denied Status or not meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
  • GPA dropped below the scholarship’s minimum
  • FAFSA changes that affect your Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
  • Graduated early (future-term scholarships are canceled)
  • Break in enrollment (e.g., Completion Scholarship requires 3+ credits each fall and spring)
