Why was my scholarship cancelled or reduced?
Each scholarship has its own rules. Here are common reasons your award may have changed:
- Dropped or didn’t enroll in classes before the drop date
- Not enough credits (some awards require full-time enrollment)
- Non-passing grades (F, FN, W)
- Received a 100% tuition refund due to withdrawal
- Financial Aid Denied Status or not meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
- GPA dropped below the scholarship’s minimum
- FAFSA changes that affect your Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
- Graduated early (future-term scholarships are canceled)
- Break in enrollment (e.g., Completion Scholarship requires 3+ credits each fall and spring)
