What happens if my check is returned?
If your check payment is returned because of insufficient funds, a stop payment, or an incorrect account number, a $30 bad check fee will be added to your account. Two instances of returned checks will block your ability to submit future checks. This applies to both paper and electronic checks.
Note: If your payment was returned because you accidentally entered the wrong account number, you may be eligible for a one-time courtesy waiver of the fee. To request the waiver, contact Student Accounts.
