How do I resolve an idle session time-out in LEO?

How to avoid time-outs

  • LEO automatically logs you out after 3 hours of inactivity.
  • A warning appears 5 minutes before your session expires. Click Save in assignments or Post in forums to stay logged in.
  • Passive activities, like reading content or watching videos, may not register as activity.

Tips for success

  • While taking quizzes, click Save frequently.
  • Draft long responses in a word processor and paste them into LEO.
  • Mobile users should close all tabs and clear the browser cache if a session times out.

Tip: Regularly saving your work ensures you don't lose progress and helps you avoid session time-outs.
