How do I resolve a Brightspace session expiration error in my classroom?

If you see Your session has expired in LEO, it usually means you are using the wrong link. Follow the steps below to correct the issue:

  • Use the official LEO link.
  • Avoid old bookmarks or saved URLs that may not work on mobile devices.
  • If the message appears again, close your browser completely and reopen it using the correct link.

Note: This applies to mobile devices like Android, iPad, or BlackBerry.

Tip: Always log in through learn.umgc.edu to prevent session expiration errors and interruptions during your coursework.
