How do I request an enrollment verification if I am not a current student?

If you are not currently enrolled at UMGC or have never been a student, you will need to request proof of enrollment through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) (fee may apply).

  1. Visit the NSC Student Self-Service Site.
  2. Choose your preferred option:
    • Obtain Enrollment Certificate.
    • View Enrollment Information on File.
    • View Student Loan Deferment Notifications.
    • View Proof of Enrollment Requests.

Notes:

  • Not all universities and colleges participate in NSC
  • Current UMGC can use NSC for enrollment verification letters if desired
  • There is a fee associated with verifying through NSC

Tip: If you receive an error, return to Student Portal >Academic Records >Enrollment Verification and try again.
