How do I request an enrollment verification if I am not a current student?
If you are not currently enrolled at UMGC or have never been a student, you will need to request proof of enrollment through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) (fee may apply).
- Visit the NSC Student Self-Service Site.
- Choose your preferred option:
- Obtain Enrollment Certificate.
- View Enrollment Information on File.
- View Student Loan Deferment Notifications.
- View Proof of Enrollment Requests.
Notes:
- Not all universities and colleges participate in NSC
- Current UMGC can use NSC for enrollment verification letters if desired
- There is a fee associated with verifying through NSC
Tip: If you receive an error, return to Student Portal >Academic Records >Enrollment Verification and try again.
