Can I receive more than one UMGC scholarship per academic year?
Most students receive one institutional or donor-funded scholarship per aid year. There are a few exceptions, but it's important to know:
- You cannot receive both the President's Scholarship and the President's Grant in the same aid year.
- It's very rare to receive a donor-funded scholarship along with either the President's Scholarship or the President's Grant.
- The maximum combined award amount for donor-funded and most institutional scholarships is $2,000 per year ($1,000 for fall and $1,000 for spring).
- Scholarship funds cannot be transferred between semesters.
