How do I pay off my balance with the Central Collections Unit (CCU)?
If your UMGC balance has been sent to the Central Collections Unit (CCU), you must make all payments directly through CCU.
To make a payment to CCU
- Online: Pay at Maryland CCU Payment Portal. You’ll need your CCU Debtor Number and PIN. Contact CCU for assistance.
- By Phone: Call 888-248-0345 (toll-free) and provide your CCU Account Number.
Important
- Once your balance is transferred to CCU, a 17% collection fee is added.
- If your hold shows an abatement ($50 or less), you can pay UMGC directly by calling 800-888-8682 (Office of Financial Solutions).
