How do I opt in or opt out of UMGC messages?
When you apply to UMGC, you’re automatically opted in to receive important updates about your application, deadlines, and events.
To opt out of text messages
- Reply STOP to any UMGC text, or
- Speak with a UMGC representative by phone.
Important: Even if you opt out, UMGC may still contact you about academics, finances, or other required services.
Notes
- Opting out means you might miss important reminders.
- UMGC cannot send texts to international phone numbers.
- Message and data rates may apply.
