Can I make changes to my Veterans Certification?

Yes! After you submit your Veterans Certification form in the student portal, you can make adjustments if your enrollment changes, like if you add a course for the term.

  1. Log in to your MyUMGC student portal.
  2. Go to Finances.
  3. Select Veteran Certification.
  4. Choose the semester you want to update.
  5. Click Make Adjustment and follow the steps to update your certification request.

Notes

  • Dropped/withdrawn courses: Veterans Certification Office (VCO) will remove them automatically; no action needed.
  • Added courses: You must update your certification using Make Adjustment. If not updated, VCO will contact you to confirm benefit use, which may delay processing.
