What does the letter grade “I” mean?
An “I” (Incomplete) grade is given when your coursework is satisfactory, but you were unable to finish all requirements by the end of the term.
The “I” mark is temporary. You must complete the remaining work within the deadline set by UMGC and your instructor. If you do not, the “I” will convert to a final grade based on completed work.
For full details, review UMGC’s Grade of Incomplete policy.
