How do I get my 1098-T electronically?
You can receive your 1098-T electronically instead of by mail, but you must opt in. If you’ve already consented, no action is needed unless you later want to opt out.
To opt in for electronic delivery:
- Log in to your Student Account Center.
- On the right side of the page, click Consents and Agreements.
- Select the Paperless 1098-T tab.
- If you see a message that says You currently receive a paper copy of your 1098-T, click Change.
- Read the consent agreement and click Accept Consent if you agree.
It may take about 24 hours for your request to be processed.
To view your electronic 1098-T:
- Return to your Student Account Center.
- From the My Account drop-down menu, select Statements.
- Click 1098-T Tax Statements to view or download your form.
Note: If you choose electronic delivery, you will not receive a paper copy by mail.
