Why hasn’t my financial aid been disbursed to my account?
Important: Due to ongoing processing challenges related to federal changes, some financial aid awards and disbursements remain delayed. As financial aid systems continue to receive updates, UMGC is actively working with our partners to test solutions, implement updates, and process student aid as quickly as possible. We will continue to share updates as additional information becomes available.
Make sure you have completed all of the steps below:
- Submit all requested documents.
- Be actively enrolled in at least one course (Federal Pell Grant disbursements).
- Be actively enrolled half-time. (Loan disbursements)
- Complete a Master Promissory Note and/or Entrance Counseling.
- Accept your Financial Aid Award.
- Be sure to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
If you have completed all steps above, and still have not received your disbursement, contact the Office of Financial Solutions.
