Why hasn’t my financial aid been disbursed to my account?
Important: Updates to federal financial aid have resulted in software and process changes that need to be completed to ensure the accurate processing of 2026–2027 financial aid. UMGC is actively working with our software providers and federal partners to complete testing and implement the required functionality as quickly as possible. At this time, we are not yet able to provide a confirmed disbursement date. We will continue to share updates as additional information becomes available.
Make sure you have completed all of the steps below:
- Submit all requested documents.
- Be actively enrolled in at least one course (Federal Pell Grant disbursements).
- Be actively enrolled half-time. (Loan disbursements)
- Complete a Master Promissory Note and/or Entrance Counseling.
- Accept your Financial Aid Award.
- Be sure to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
