Can the amount of my financial aid award change?

Estimated financial aid awards show what you may receive, but are not final. Your award could change due to factors such as:

  • Enrollment hours: Enroll in the required number of hours for your program to remain eligible for financial aid through that program.
  • FAFSA errors: Double-check your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for any mistakes or inaccuracies. Incorrect data can lead to changes in your award.
  • Outside resources: Report any additional outside resources, such as scholarships or grants, as they might affect your financial aid award.
  • Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP): Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) to avoid a reduction or cancellation of your financial aid.
  • Family financial changes: Report family financial changes to avoid impacts on your aid.
