Why do I have a Financial Aid Applicant (FAA) hold on my account?
It’s a positive hold that prevents disenrollment while you wait for your financial aid to disburse.
You’ll see a FAA hold if you meet all of these:
- FAFSA is on file for the current year
- You meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
- You’re registered at half-time status
- You’ve accepted your financial aid award
- Pending aid covers your current balance
- No prior semester balance over $50
- No checklist items open for more than 15 days
- No Student of Interest (SOI) indicator
To resolve it, check your student portal or contact Office of Financial Solutions.
